At the Bolton’s White Hotel, Bolton, Lancashire, UK, MTK Global – Lee Eaton, in associated with Top Rank over ESPN+ Friday, in the Main Event Lewis ‘The Croc’ Crocker, of Belfast, No. Ireland, UK, defended his title in a war against Deniz Ilbay, Cologne, GER, for the WBO European welterweight title over 10 action packed rounds.
In the a war of a Main Event WBO Welterweight champion Lewis ‘The Croc’ Crocker, 13-0 (7), #146, of Belfast, No. IRE, UK, won over Deniz Ilbay, 22-3 (10), #146, of Cologne, GER, for the WBO European welterweight title, over 10 action packed rounds.
In the first round both fighters had their moments in an all-action round. In the second round after half a minute Crocker hurt Ilbay with a body shot. Half a minute left in the round Crocker landed a left to the mid-section and followed with a right on the chin having Ilbay almost down but managed to finish to the bell. In the third half a minute to go Ilbay rocked Crocker with a right on the chin.
In the fourth it was back and forth with Crocker dropping Ilbay with a hard left to the body forcing Ilbay to take a knee. At the end of the round Ilbay rocked Crocker in the final seconds of the round. In the fifth round near the halfway point Crocker hurt Ilbay with a body shot. In the seventh round it action continued with the hard hitting Crocker coming back after dropping two straight rounds. In the eighth it was close with Ilbay marked under both eyes from Crocker’s harder punches in a close fight.
In the ninth round Ilbay came back well while Crocker was warned twice for low punches. In the tenth and final round it was all Crocker with Ilbay never stopping. Crocker drove Ilbay into the ropes halfway through the round with a right on the chin. It was a great fight!

Southpaw Irish Lightweight champion Gary “The Diva” Cully, 12-0 (6), #134 1/2, of Naas, IRE, stopped Viktor Kotochigov, 12-2 (5), #134 1/4, of Almaty, KAZ, at 2:14 of the second round for the vacant WBO European Lightweight title.
In the second round a left over a jab from southpaw Cully on the chin of Almaty and down he went on his back with his head hitting the canvas. He attempted to get up and rolled over causing the referee Bob Williams to call a halt.
Featherweight Isaac “Westgate Warrior” Lowe, 21-0-3 (6), #128 ¾, of Morecambe, Lancashire, UK, defeated Ed Harrison, 2-6 (0), #127, of Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, over 6 rounds.
Lowe dominated the first three rounds. In the third round a clash of heads caused a cut on Lowe’s left eyebrow. In the final three rounds Lowe continued to dominate the much less experienced Harrison.
Referee Michael Alexander scored it 60-55. This writer had it 60-54.
Super Welterweight southpaw Carl Fail, 1-0 (0), #158 1/4, Northampton, UK, defeated Jordan Dujan, 4-1 (0), #156, of Barnet, London, UK, over 6 rounds.
In an action fight Fail won 58-56 on referee Bob Williams scorecard.
