Who Will Be the Next Klitschko in the Heavyweights?

The Eastern Europeans are HUNGRY like the Americans were “back in the day” my friend! There are quite a few “want a bee’s who average 6:05 and over who are unbeaten and untested! Let’s take a look:

Let’s start with Germany’s Agit Kabayel, 18-0 (13), who back in June of 2016 won the EBU European title knocking out Christian Lewandowski, 7-0, in 7 rounds in Germany. His defenses were defeating Belgium’s Herve “Doble hache” 26-1, over 12 rounds in February of 2017 in Germany. Followed in November by defeating former Euro, British and British Empire champion Dereck “Del Boy” Chisora, 27-7, by majority decision, over 12, in Monte Carlo. In April of 2018 he stopped Serbia’s Miljan Rovcanin, 19-1, in 3 rounds.

Next Otto Wallin, 20-0 (13), of Sweden, who in April defeated Adrian “The Pike” Granat, 15-1, also from Sweden for the EBU European Union title. He’s a southpaw at 6:05 1/2.

Mladen “Monster Mel” Miljas, 8-0 (8), of Ontario, at 6:06, has only fought one opponent with a losing record. From Romania is Bogdan Dinu, 18-0, (14), at 6:05. He stopped Davit Gorgiladze, 10-1, and Irakli Gvenetadze, 7-1, both from Georgia. Mario Daser, 14-0 (7), of who in May of 2017 stopped former Cruiser world champion Ola Afolabi, 22-5-4, in 3 rounds for both the IBO International and the WBO European titles. Then in his last fight moved up to heavyweight stopping Brazil’s Claudio Morroni Porto, 8-3-1, in the first round, in May of 2018.

Nathan Gorman, 13-0 (11), of the UK, stopped Russian Mohamed Soltby, 13-0, for the WBC International Silver title in 5 rounds. Another from the UK is Daniel “Dynamite” Dubois, 8-0 (8), who knocked out both Mauricio “Eldemoledor” Barragan, 15-1, of Uruguay, and DL Jones, 8-1, of the UK, and is scheduled to fight the US’s Kevin “King Pin” Johnson, 32-10-1, in October.

Russian Sergey Kuzmin, 12-0-1nc (9), at 6:06, stopped US Malcolm “The Show Stopper” Tann, 24-4, in June of 2017, a NC3 with Amir “Hardcore” Mansour, 23-2-1, in November of 2017, and came to America in April and Jeremiah “The Bull Frog” Karpency, 15-1-1, knocking him out in 6 rounds.

Peter Milas, 12-0 (9), of Croatia, who in March of 2018 stopped Kevin “Kingpin” Johnson, 32-8-1, in 8 rounds. In June he defeated in Francesco Pianeta, 35-3-1, for the IBO International title, over 10 rounds. The same Pianeta fighting Tyson Fury.

Finally, there are a couple with less than a half a dozen fights in Joe “Juggernaut” Joyce, 5-0 (5), Silver Medalist in the 2016 Olympics from the UK, at 6:06 and the man he lost to the 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist Tony “La Conquet” Yoka, 5-0 (4), of Paris, France, at 6:07. Joyce knocked out Jamaican Lenroy “TNT” Thomas, 22-4-1, in 2 rounds for the Commonwealth British Empire title, in May of 2018 and in his last fight in June knocking out Croatia’s Ivica Bacurin, 30-13-1, in the first round. Yoka lost to Canada’s Kean in the 2012 Olympics 16-16+ and defeated Joyce in 2015 in Qatar for the Gold Medal. In June of 2017 in his debut he knocked out Travis Clark, 12-0, of the US, in his third fight Ali “Sultan” Baghouz, 10-1-1, stopped him in 2 rounds, and in June in his last bout stopped David Allen, 13-3-2, in the tenth and final round. Allen split with Lenroy Thomas. He went the distance with Dillian Whyte and in his very next fight 7 rounds with Cuban Luis Ortiz.
