In the Main Event 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist Tony “La Conquete” Yoka, 9-0 (7), #239.2, of Paris, France, defeated Christian Hammer, 25-7 (15), #258.8, of Hamburg, Germany, over 10 dull rounds.
In the second round Hammer raced across the ring causing a clash of heads and receiving a cut over his right eye. Hammer did more wrestling than fighting. In the fourth round Hammer pushed Yoka to the canvas for the fourth time. In the sixth round Hammer lost a point hitting on a break. In the seventh Yoka did more covering up losing the round to the rough tactics of Hammer. The holding continued over the next two rounds with tape from Yoka’s gloves loose for the third round. In the tenth and final round both continued more mauling than fighting.

In the second round Faust had a big round. In the third round a left hook from Faust on the chin of Sokolowski dropped him for an 8-count just prior to the bell. In the fourth round Sokolowski received a cut on the bridge of his nose. In the fifth and sixth rounds Sololowski went into survival mode avoiding a stoppage from Faust.

Super Lightweight Volkan Gokcek, 5-0 (2), #143.3, of Istanbul, TUR, won a majority decision to Aboubeker Bechelaghem, 12-12 (2), #144.2, of Haute-Garonne, FR, over 6 rounds.
In the first three rounds Gokcek had a slight edge in a competitive fight. In the fourth Gokcek continued to get away with some dirty tactics with a poor referee doing little about it. In the fifth round it was all action with Bechlaghem taking it. In the sixth and final round the action continued with Gokcek closing well.
This writer had it 58-56 for Gokcek. Bechelaghem was announced as the winner but 10 minutes later it was reversed to Gokcek.
