Rising prospect from Brooklyn Nikita (White Chocolate) Ababiy won his fourth pro bout all by K.O. on April 20th on the undercard of David Allen vs Lucas Browne at London’s O2 arena. Nikita was born in Richmond, VA now residing and fighting out of Brooklyn. N.Y. The 21 year old Ababiy had a 90 fight amateur career that began in 2007. Among his achievements are Jr. Golden Gloves National Champion, two-time World Ring Side Champion and Youth Team USA 2016. His Grandfather Ilya, was an amateur boxer in the USSR.
The rangy 6 foot tall orthodox super middleweight blasted his way through his first 3 bouts in the paid ranks with all first round knockouts. This fourth pro bout against tested veteran Dimitri Faltin only lasted slightly longer. Nikita beat badly Faltin in the first round; head shots had nose bleeding and raked his body with hard shots. Early in the second, Ababiy (4-0, 4 KO) landed a straight right and Faltin went down. Faltin did get up but was unsteady and the referee stopped the fight at 26 seconds of the second round. Eventually, Ababiy will get rounds in against other opposition. But his pro career has started with a sensational streak
