At Raging Babe’s initial Philadelphia promotion Friday at South Philly’s 2300 Arena Michelle Rosado had five of the boxers in her seven fight card there for the work out! Channels 10 and 6 were there!
Headliner unbeaten Christian Carto, 17-0 (11), out of South Philly was the main attraction. He will be taking on San Diego southpaw Victor “Pelon” Ruiz, 22-10 (15), in an 8 round bantamweight match-up.
The co-feature will have Philly’s unbeaten heavyweight Darmani Rock, 13-0 (8), taking on Steven “Lion King” Lyons, 5-3 (3), of Larose, La, in 6 rounds of hard hitting action. Lyons last month stopped previously unbeaten Jonathan Foreman, then 5-0, in 5 rounds. He’s defeated two other 3-0 opponents Santino Turnbow and Keenan Hickman. He looks to take the “o” from Rock’s record.
