KEA Boxing is proud to bring boxing back to the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, New Jersey with an entertaining seven bout card. The six round main event will feature undefeated super middleweight knockout artist Darren Goodall (5-0, 4 KOs) against upset minded Tahlik Taylor (3-10, 1 KO). Goodall is a crowd favorite who has explosive power in both hands. Four of his five opponents have not made it past the second round. The twenty-seven year old from New Milford, New Jersey scored an impressive 2nd round stoppage of sixteen fight veteran Juan Celin Zapata on March 31st. He will have a good test on Friday night in Tahlik Taylor of Freeport, New York. Taylor went into debuting Jimmy Jordan’s hometown of Scranton, PA and pulled of the upset with an impressive four round unanimous decision victory in his last bout.
The co-feature of the evening will showcase the return Philly welterweight Ardrick “The Hitman” Butler (7-4, 3 KOs), who looks to shake off seven years of ring rust, when he faces East Meadow, New Jersey’s Marcus Beckford (4-8-3, 1 KO) in a four-round contest. Beckford handed Yurik Mamedov (8-1) the first loss of his career with a split decision victory in his last bout on December 16th.
Undefeated Jersey City, New Jersey super middleweight Robert Terry (1-0) will swap punches with the York, PA’s James “Thunder” Robinson (5-9-4, 1 KO).
One of the brightest super bantamweight prospects in the region, Emmanuel Folly (10-0, 8KOs) of Philadelphia, PA is set to battle over four rounds with thirty-three fight veteran Pablo Cupul (9-24, 5 KOs) of Merida, Mexico.
Popular North Bergen, New Jersey super lightweight John Bauza (9-0, 5 KOs) looks for his tenth win as a pro, when he swaps punches over six rounds with Aquasqualientes, Mexico’s Hugo Padilla (5-13, 2 KOs).
Jersey City, New Jersey’s Andrew Bentley (3-3, 3 KOs) will do battle with undefeated Cleveland, Ohio native Arrel Love (1-0, 1 KO) in a four round contest.
Opening the show will be a four round welterweight contest featuring a pair of fighters looking to turn their careers around as Orange, New Jersey’s Steve Moore (0-3) tangles with Laquan Lewis (2-9, 2 KOs) of Brooklyn New York.
