We will never know if the two Sonny Liston and Muhammad Ali matches were on the up and up. The more I see of this upcoming overblown exhibition between a 49-0 professional and a 0-0 novice I have to wonder “is the Mayweather-McGregor Exhibition on the Up and Up?”

This writer won’t be viewing this exhibition Saturday even though invited to. Was it PT Barnum who said “there’s a sucker born every minute?” What little I’ve allowed myself to see in pictures only it looks like it has all the signs of WFF and we know how “real” that is.

I’m told MMA matches go no longer than 5 rounds and this I understand is set for 12 rounds. Mayweather has added another “insurance” ticket when the referee named was the same who allowed Andre Ward to force 46 clinches in his first match with Sergey Kovalev without deducting one point. Those three officials all awarded Ward the gift of a one point advantage to be “handed” three titles.

I don’t have to hear what both are saying to one another. Just look at the pictures of both yelling at one another and tell me it’s not Liston-Ali all over again. No true fight fan of which I believe I am will pay $100 or watch it for free at someone else’s expense. Remember, “A sucker if born every minute!”
