KEA Boxing Promotions and Global Boxing Promotions Look to Return to North Jersey with a Splash!
North Bergen, NJ (February 26, 2013) Andre Kut’s KEA Boxing Promotions returns home to North Jersey to bring an explosive night of boxing on Saturday night April 13th at Schuetzen Park in North Bergen. KEA Boxing has become known throughout the northeast for putting on exciting shows that have fans yearning for more. New Jersey fans and fighters want Kut back and he has decided to begin 2013 with a splash at Schuetzen Park. Andre Kut’s KEA Boxing, together with Mariusz Kolodziej’s Global Boxing are set to put on a night of boxing featuring some of the best local and international stars in the surrounding region.
Headlining the show will be KEA Boxing’s own undefeated welterweight sensation Juan “The Beast” Rodriguez (10-0, 4KO’s), who is ready to grab the spotlight in the six round contest. Rodriguez of Union City, New Jersey quickly became a fan favorite in the north Jersey region with explosive knockouts and a fan friendly style that insures action packed bouts. The deceptive power showed itself recently in a devastating one punch knockout of Daniel Crabtree. In his most recent bout last August in the main event at the Mount Airy Casino in Mount Pocono,PA., he went toe-to-toe with wily veteran Dontre King and had his chin severely tested before coming out with an impressive six round unanimous decision victory. Now, Rodriguez knows it is time to step up to the level and is ready to fight the best the region has to offer.
The card also has an international flavor which features two undefeated Polish superstars in welterweight Patryk Szymanski (5-0, 2KO’s) and super featherweight Michal Chudecki (4-0, 2KO’s) who are scheduled to appear in separate six round clashes.
Patryk Szymanski a former amateur Polish elite champion, has used his long reach sharp combinations to help to dominate his early career as a professional. In his last bout, Patryk made the trip back to Poland and dropped veteran Laszlo Fazekas once, en-route to a one sided unanimous decision victory.
Michal Chudecki has also run roughshod through all his bouts as a professional. In his last bout in Poland, the former four-time Polish youth champion handed formerly undefeated Roland Mohacsi (6-1) his first loss as a professional, taking every round (40-36 x 3) in a one sided unanimous decision victory.
Newark New Jersey welterweight Alex “Brick City Bullet” Perez (16-1, 9KO’s) looks to rebound from his first loss as a professional against Antonio Decarie (27-1, 8KO’s) on HBO’S Boxing after Dark. Perez has beaten the likes of Francisco Figueroa, Corey Peterson, Laureano Laracuente and looks to get right back into the national spotlight.
Local fan favorite and heavy handed junior middleweight Anthony Gangemi (2-0, 2KO’s) of Mine Hill, New Jersey is also set to please the local brethren when he goes for his third straight knockout as a pro in a four round contest.
Always a crowd pleaser: a special women’s attraction has already been matched featuring a pair of rugged super featherweights as Liz Sherman (4-2, 2KO’s) squares off against “Da Phenominal” Nydia Feliciano (5-4-3) of the Bronx, New York in a four round contest.
If heavyweights are your bag of choice, then you won’t to want to miss Virginia’s Joey Cusumano (6-1, 4KO’s) as he swaps punches with Erie PA’s rugged Rocky Mullooly (4-3, 3KO’s).
