MARQUEZ INJURED, ARELLANO FACES A NEW FOE!

ORANGE, CA (April 27, 2011) – Friday night’s “NEW BLOOD” series offers a new challenge for bantamweight boxer Jonathan Arellano since his scheduled opponent Ernie Marquez suffered an ulnar collateral sprain to his wrist when he fell off a plank while at work. Undeterred, Ontario’s own Jonathan “Lil’ Thund’r”Arellano (7-0-1, 1 KO) will now face a new foe in Shawn “Bones” Nichol (5-3, 5 KOs).

The intriguing Arellano-Nichol match up is scheduled on the undercard of the exciting junior welterweight competition between Mauricio “Maestro” Herrera (16-1, 7 KOs) and veteran fighter Cristian “Filoso” Favela (28-32-7, 18 KOs). Also on the card the California turf wars between featherweights Abraham Lopez vs. Aaron Garcia and welterweights Alberto Herrera vs. Aron Martinez.
