Newark, New Jersey’s Council Vice President Luis Quintana presented Alex with the award in front of a packed house at Quintana’s 15th Annual Breakfast at the Robert Treat Hotel. Special guests included Governor Jon Corzine as well as Newark Council members Anibal Ramos (North Ward), Carlos Gonzalez (at large) and State Senator Ron Rice among others.
