Retired Boxers Foundation

The Retired Boxers Foundation Golf Tournament is fast approaching.
The Tournament is our primary fundraiser and we cannot do it without
the support of the boxing community. We know that it is too late to
ask you to be a sponsor, but its not too late to ask you to
participate in this tournament–the 5th Annual Micky Ward Celebrity
Classic on September 8th, 2008, at the Indian Ridge Country Club in
Andover, MA. This year’s event promises to be even better than the
last with the addition of a fantastic new championship venue.

We need golfers, cash and we need some boxers to join us and show
their support for our mission, which is to assist retired professional
boxers in the transition from their glorious days in the ring, to a
dignified retirement. We have been working for ten years, assisting
the retired boxers, and have consistently helped nearly a hundred
boxers each year (some more than once!).

I am attaching a press release, along with the golf brochure for your
consideration. If you have memorabilia that you can donate for the
auction, it is greatly appreciated. The Retired Boxers Foundation is
an IRS 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation and your contributions are tax
deductible.

For more information, please visit www.rbfgolf.com. Golf
Registrations should be sent to the address on the brochure. Please
contact me if you have any questions. My cell phone number is (805)
551-3449. For more information on the Retired Boxers Foundation, you
can visit our site at www.retiredboxers.org. If you want to make a
cash donation, you can send it directly to the Retired Boxers
Foundation at: 3359 Bryan Avenue, Simi Valley, CA 93063.

I am attaching our latest RBF Punchline, which has information on our
upcoming events. Please join us as an “Undisputed Champion for
Dignity!”

Sincerely,

Jacquie Richardson
