Former World Rated Welterweight Contender from the 1950’s, Joe Miceli passed away early yesterday evening. Joe fought 12 World Champions during his Professional career BUT never received a Title shot. He beat Ike Williams 2 out 3 times, Bud Smith twice, Virgil Akins, Johnny Saxton, fought a draw with Joey Giardello and lost a very close decision to Kid Gavilan.
