I have had the pleasure of interviewing James Moore, and I have met him on a few occasions. Moore is very likable, and he has an understated demeanor, but in the ring he is all business. Moore likes to crack to the body, and he is a hard charger. Moore is a very talented fighter with a huge amateur docket, but he has been admittedly disappointed with the level of opposition he has faced in his undefeated professional career.

All of that disappointment is about to change.

This Saturday night at the Wamu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Moore will be on the big stage for the pre-Saint Patrick’s Day main event against J.C. Candelo. Like Seamus McDonagh and John Duddy before him, Moore will set the tone for the biggest Irish weekend in New York City.

Moore says he is training like this is a title fight.
