Edison Miranda proved he was back as a legit contender with a 5th round knockout win over Henry Porras. BetUS.com had Edison Miranda as a -1100 favorite. The Warriors Boxing promoted card was packed to the brim at the Hard Rock Live Arena in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, in what turned out to be a thrilling fight card from top to bottom.

Against Miranda, Porras was on the defensive most of the time with a decent shell styled defense while occasionally trying to rally with some angry counters. Miranda, meanwhile, was being aggressive with caution in the first two rounds methodically throwing two-punch combinations to the head and body.
