Vitali Klitschko has announced his return after almost a two year layoff. Many fans are excited to see him back because they feel that he was the last legitimate heavyweight champion. Klitchko was scheduled to fight interim champion Hasim Rahman on several occasions before pulling out and eventually retiring citing a knee injury. Rahman immediately became recognized as the WBC Heavyweight Champion. Rahman proceeded with a draw against James Toney before getting stopped by Oleg Maskaev for the second time to lose his title.
