After a wild and entertaining 2006, it is time to choose a fighter of the year. Ricky Hatton was a relatively easy choice for 2005 fighter of the year. Hatton stopped the legendary Kostya Tszyu and nearly beheaded Carlos Maussa while taking his title to become a unified champion at 140. Hatton picked up the Ring Magazine Championship.
