And the 2006 Fighter of the Year is

After a wild and entertaining 2006, it is time to choose a fighter of the year. Ricky Hatton was a relatively easy choice for 2005 fighter of the year. Hatton stopped the legendary Kostya Tszyu and nearly beheaded Carlos Maussa while taking his title to become a unified champion at 140. Hatton picked up the Ring Magazine Championship. This year it was harder as there were many good arguments for who should win. Here are my top five choices for 2006 fighter of the year. I have listed the fighter
