In 1974 Mohammed Ali was considered past his sell-by date when he produced one of the greatest performances of all time to beat George Foreman and cement his reputation as a boxing legend and in 2010 Seni reminded everyone that it too was still the greatest with its biggest and boldest show ever, drawing record crowds to the Excel to witness an unparalleled weekend of combat sports magic. It seemed fitting then that current World Boxing Champion David Haye and former champ Tim Witherspoon were at the show to support what has become the greatest martial arts spectacle on earth, with the Seni show boasting an impressive mix of combat sports, strength, health and fitness, the whole creating what is now widely considered the best Seni ever.
Whilst Seni is hugely diverse, many noted that the Classical arts were still solidly at the heart of the show, as emphasised by the vast amount of competitors for the now legendary Lond! on international opens across Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Escrima, Jiu-Jitsu, Wushu and Freestyle that saw over 3000 athletes compete across a hectic weekend on the mats.
