I am currently fundraising for a project to place a life-sized statue of Joey Giardello in South Philly. The effort is a non-profit (501.c.3) collaboration of Philly Boxing History, The Veteran Boxers Association – Ring 1, and the Harrowgate Boxing Club. We are doing pretty well and have reached the halfway mark of our fundraising drive.

We are looking for people interested in boxing history, and specifically in Giardello, who might want to help us out with a tax-deductible donation. So if anyone is interested in making a donation, I’ve attached a letter about the project.
