Shaun George Aims To Knock Out Eric Harding December 6th

Donna Brooks has no doubts in her mind about the skill level of Shaun George. “I’ve seen it since day one when we signed him,” said Brooks, president of Hall of Fame Promotions. When Shaun George enters the ring on December 6 in Newark, NJ’s Robert Treat Hotel, the rest of the world will see what she sees, and so too will Eric Harding.

“This fight is important for Shaun because of Harding’s experience,” Brooks said of George’s challenge. “I was thrilled that Harding took the fight because this is an excellent opportunity for Shaun to shine against a very talented veteran.”

Brooks acknowledged that the fighters’ history together creates an atmosphere ripe for explosion. “There is going to be a lot of tension in the ring. They clearly don’t like each other. On more than one occasion Tommy Brooks had to split them up in sparring. Shaun needs to remain calm and composed and he will dominate the fight.”

“This fight is personal,” Shaun George, 15-2-2 (7 KO) said. “He talks way too much trash and I’m going to make him swallow his words. I’m very emotionally charged for this fight.” Against Harding, one of the ten best light heavyweights of the past decade, Shaun George wants to make a statement. “I am looking to give Eric Harding the beating of his life, or a spectacular knockout. It’s very important for me to win impressively.”

Fellow Brooklyn native Dmitriy “Star of David” Salita also voiced his support for Shaun George’s chances in the fight. “It’s an interesting fight. Shaun is a young and hungry fighter coming up and has some good momentum in recent fights. Shaun’s speed gives Harding problems and I think he wins the fight.”

When asked what this fight meant to him, George responded “That’s for the boxing fans and media to decide.”
