In the Main Event southpaw Michael “The Problem” McKinson, 19-0 (2), #146.2, of Portsmouth, and Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK, scored 3 knockdowns scoring a decision over Martin Harkin, 13-1 (5), #145.5, of Dumbarton, Scotland, UK, over 10 rounds.

In the first round a left push-punch from McKinson on the side of the head of Harkin scored a knockdown. Referee Phil Edwards gave him an 8-count. In the second round a right hook followed by a left from McKinson on the head of Harkin getting his feet entangled and down he went for another 8-count from referee Edwards. In the fifth round McKinson scored a third knockdown with a left to the chin of Harkin for an 8-count.

In the sixth round Harkin came back having his best round with some head shots against McKinson. From the seventh thru the tenth it was all McKinson landing his right hook to the head keeping Harkin off balance.

Scores were 100-88, 99-88 and 97-91 with this writer 99-88.

In the co-feature EBU and Commonwealth Super Flyweight champion and No. 18 OBO Jay Harris, 18-1 (9), #114 Ľ, of Swansea, Wales, UK, defeated Marcel “The Chose One” Braithwaite, 9-3 (0), #116, of Liverpool, UK, over 10 rounds.

In the first three rounds Harris outworked Braithwaite mostly to the body. In the fourth round at the halfway point Braithwaite had Harris out on his feet and hanging on. Harris managed to come back in the last thirty seconds taking it to Braithwaite. In the rounds five through nine Harris had the edge. Braithwaite had swelling under his left eye.

In the tenth and final round both let it all out with Braithwaite getting the edge but not enough to pull the fight out.

Scores were 98-93, 97-93 and 98-92 with this writer 97-93.

Bantamweight Paul “Baby Face Assassin” Butler, 32-2 (15), of Ellesmere Port, Chesire, UK, defeated Ryan Walker, 11-2 (2), of Newham, London, UK, over 8 rounds.
