Many boxing “experts” claim WBO World Welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford is the best P4P boxer in the world today. The former WBO Lightweight, WBO, IBF, WBC and WBO Light Welterweight champion will be making his second title defense of his Welterweight title Saturday night against Amir “King” Kahn at Madison Square Garden, in New York over Showtime PPV, promoted by Bob Arum’s Top Rank Boxing.

Crawford, 34-0 (25), of Omaha, NEB, and Kahn, 33-4 (20), of Lancashire, UK, both claim he will be an exciting fight. It’s loaded with talent on the undercard with six unbeaten and two once beaten fighters on the “A” side. This includes co-feature of Teofimo “El Brooklyn” Lopez, 12-0 (10), 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist Shakur “Fearless” Stevenson, 10-0 (6) and Felix “El Diamante” Verdejo, 24-1 (16).

Now a day before the “Garden Party” Crawford has stopped his last five opponents and had this to say about Saturday night:

I don’t worry about bigger names. My focus is on Amir Kahn. He is the task at hand. I’ve never overlooked and opponent. He’s undefeated as a welterweight and can’t be under estimated.

Kahn has won seven of his last eight fights only losing at middleweight to Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and had this to say:

Terence is very high in the pound-for-pound rankings, maybe No. 1 or No. 2. I know he’s training hard because he doesn’t want to lose that unbeaten record, and I don’t want to lose this fight because I want to achieve everything I want in the sport of boxing.
