In the Main Event Akeem “Riddy” Ennis-Brown, 14-0 (1), #139, captured the British Empire Commonwealth Super Lightweight title defeating champion Philip “Quicksilver” Bowes, 20-4 (3), #140, over 12 rounds.
In the fourth round Bowes got cut over the left eye from Ennis-Brown. In the eighth round Bowes was deducted a point by referee Phil Edwards for holding. Ennis-Brown was cut by the right eye.
Scores were Howard John Foster and Mark Lyson 115-112 and Terry O’Connor 116-111.
In the co-feature Light Heavyweight Dan “Super” Azeez, 12-0 (8), #174 ¼, of London, UK, stopped Andre Sterling, 11-3 (4), #173 1/2, of New Cross, London, UK, at 1:59 of the 9th of a scheduled 10 for the BBBc English title.
In round 2 Sterling was cut above the left eye. Sterling’s corner threw in the towel in the 9th.
Super Lightweight Harlem Eubank, 10-0 (3), #143, of Sussex, UK, knocked out southpaw Mark McDonagh, 8-2 (1), #142 ¼, of Kent, UK, @2:36 of the 8th and final round.
In the fourth round Eubank had McDonagh hurt but McDonagh came off the ropes landing a left almost knocking out the mouthpiece of Eubank. In the eighth round a left hook, right, left and right to the head by Eubank knocked down McDonagh who beat the count but was in no condition to continue. Mark Lyson was the referee.
