Hard Hitting Promotions with promoter Will Ruiz and matchmaker Manny Rivera will feature Philly’s “Hammerin Hank” Lundy, 28-6-1 (14) and former WBO Super Lightweight Champion DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley, 50-28-1 (28), of D.C. in the main event of a 8 bout card at the 2300 Arena in South Philly Saturday night.
In Lundy’s last fight he returned to his hometown in June of 2017 for the first time since 2009. At home he is 7-0 and ranked No. 10 lightweight by the WBC. He defeated Danny Evangelista, Jr., 20-7-2, when he couldn’t come out for the sixth round following two knockdowns in the fifth.
His opponent will be the former WBO Super Lightweight Champion southpaw DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley, 50-28-1 (28), of Washington, D.C. He has won eight of his last ten fights mostly from outside the US. The bout is schedule for 8 rounds.
The co-feature will have Super Middleweight southpaw Derrick “Take It to the Bank” Webster, 24-1 (13), of Glassboro, NJ, takes on Francisco “El Volcan” Cordero, 28-9 (29), of Barranquilla, COL., over 8 rounds. In the third 8 round bout female lightweight Nydia “Dha Phenomenal” Feliciano, 9-9-3 (0), of the Bronx, NY, takes on Alycia Baumgardner, 4-0 (4), of Freemont, OH.
In other bouts over 6 rounds 18 year-old lightweight prospect Branden “The Gift” Pizarro, 8-1 (4), of Philly takes on Mark Szoros, 5-3 (3), of Budapest, Hungary. Philly lightweight prospect southpaw Jeremy “King” Cuevas, 6-0 (5), takes on Mike Fowler, 6-12 (2), of Milwaukee, WI.
In 4 round bouts will be former Heavyweight Champion Hasim “The Rock” Rahman’s son heavyweight Hasim “Gold Blooded” Rahman, Jr., 3-0 (3), of Baltimore, MD, taking on Csaba Paval, 1-2 (0), of Budapest, Hungary. Making his debut is Philly Featherweight Dillon Kasprzak taking on Michael Crain, 0-1, of Smyrna, DE. Super lightweight Marcos Suarez, 5-0-1 (1), of the Bronx with tba.
