New Jersey’s Undefeated, Tyrone LuckeyNEWARK, NEW JERSEY On Wednesday night September 14th, Gulfstream Boxing Promotions and Gabe LaConte will present the second installment of the Wednesday Night Fights Series at the Robert Treat Hotel in downtown Newark.
In the main event, Michael Torres of Jersey City, New Jersey will take on Mark Alexander in an eight round Jr. Welterweight bout.
Torres has a record of 13-2 and will be looking to get back in the win column after suffering his first two pro defeats.
He won his first thirteen bouts in a row which included wins over Keenan Collins (4-0); Eli Addison (8-1); Charles Wade (4-1); and Gilbert Vera (9-1-1).
He is coming off a six round defeat to John Williams (6-1-1) on October 29th, 2010.
Alexander will be coming all the way from London, England and will be sporting a record of 10-5 with one knockout.
He has been in the ring with former world champion Michael Brodie and holds a win over undefeated Michael Devine (3-0).
He is coming off a knockout defeat to Ryan Barrett on September 11, 2010 in London.
