The Pinger’s mobile audience interaction system will be part of the fun at the November 6th Zab Judah vs. Lucas Matthysse super fight scheduled at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center.
Audience members will be given two Pinger toll free numbers – one for the red corner and one for the blue corner. They will be encouraged to call the number corresponding to their favorite fighter from their mobile phones as often as they like. Upon hearing one ring the players simply terminate the call. Participation in the voting automatically enters the caller into a contest to win exciting prizes, including tickets to upcoming events, signed boxing gloves, tee shirts, caps, autographed posters and much more.
Fans also may call the Main Events Pinger number 1-877-777-8330 and disconnect the call after they hear one ring at anytime from now until November 6 to enter into another contest to win even more prizes. Winners will be informed by phone on the evening of the fight.
“We worked with Pinger for the first time in August when Tomas Adamek fought Michael Grant at Pru Center, promoter Kathy Duva of Main Events, said. “We are all about focusing on the fan’s experience in the arena. Pinger is another way to engage fans in the action and the ones who tried it out in August had a positive experience. Besides, who doesn’t like prizes?!”
Pinger was developed by a group of experts with decades of experience in telecommunication and global brand/promotion marketing. Designed as a solution to allow easy carrier neutral audience participation without the need for high end phones, apps or expensive data plans, Pinger can be used from cell phones, as well as landlines. Beta tested in several live MMA/boxing/Wrestling/Music plus other events and campaigns in the NY/CT/NJ/TX areas with excellent results, Pinger has been incorporated into the staging of live events by organizations like Main Events, Ringofcombat, Asylum, ASAP, Tejano music and People Espanol. In addition, Pinger has been implemented as a new media marketing tool by sponsors including Toyota Scion and Best Buy.
