Zab”Super” Judah has donated tickets to his upcoming July 16th “Brick City BoxingSeries” match with Jose Armando Santa Cruz of Michoacan, Mexico to the children of Newark’s C.O.M.B.A.T.T .Gym.
Larry Hazzard, Founder of C.O.M.B.A.T.T. Gym, said “We are very grateful for Zab Judah’s generosity in donating tickets to the kids of C.O.M.B.A.T.T. It exemplifies the heart of a real champion to give back to the community. It is especially important in a community like this where youngsters look up to boxers. Zab has proven himself to be a great role model for our youth and we appreciate that he is fighting at Prudential Center in Newark and making himself available during his visit to the City.”
Zab Judah explained, “I want to give back to the city of Newark. I feel kids are the future. I have a 17 month old son now and as I watch him grow I realize it’s important to give kids an opportunity to make themselves better and to help them make good choices. From what I’ve learned about C.O.M.B.A.T.T. Gym, this is a place where the kids can do that. It’s all about the kids. I am happy to donate the tickets to a great organization like Larry Hazzard’s C.O.M.B.A.T.T. Gym.”
The fight promoted by Main Events and Super JudahPromotions will take place on July 16th at Prudential Center, Newark, NJ. Doors open at 7pm. It will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
