The UFC 111 results of the GSP vs. Dan Hardy fight have been announced with St-Pierre winning the lopsided contest. The UFC 111 championship fight between Dan Hardy and Georges St-Pierre was found mostly on the ground with Hardy surviving two submission attempts to continue to the end of the five rounds.

UFC 111 had the main event as the welterweight title on the line as GSP fought Dan Hardy. Hardy is a striker coming off wins against Mike Swick and Marcus Davis recently.

Georges St. Pierre was making yet another title defense and held Hardy down for most of the fight with his dominating submissions at will. Hardy did not stand a chance on the ground and was put in several submissions to which he never tapped even while announcers screamed as to how he could not tap out.

Hardy congratulated GSP at the end of the fight as the champ won on all three judges scorecards. GSP got scores of 50-43, 50-44 and 50-45.
