Today in New York City Goosen Tutor Promotions in association with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism announced “Cayman Knockout Championsip Boxing”. In the featured bout of the evening 2004 Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward, 15-0, 10 KO’s will be taking on the Brick City’s own Jerson “Superjerz” Ravelo, 18-2, 12 KO’s for the NABO Super Middleweight Championship.
In an added special attraction Philidelphia heavyweight, Eddie Chambers, 30-1, 12 KO’s will be fighting a dangerous foe in Raphael Butler, 30-4, 23 KO’s for the USBA championship belt.
The fights will take place in the Caymen Islands on June 20th and will be broadcasted on Shobox, “The Next Generation”. Goosen Tutor ran first class press conferences on monday in California and on Tuesday in New York City. All of the fighters were very engaging and expressed their enthusiasm and appreciation for the opportunity to fight on Show Box for titles in the beautiful Caymen Islands.
