Espn was at the Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa, OK for some Allan Green home cooking. Unfortunately, Green did not deliver the fireworks everyone predicted, and he plodded to a ten round decision over Rubin Williams. The 28 year-old Green kept looking down at his feet, similar to his tendency in the Miranda bout. Green, who recently suffered health problems, improved to 26-1, 18 KO’s, and the 29 year-old Williams of Detroit, dropped to 29-3-1, 16 KO’s.

On the undercard, Philadelphia product Zahir Raheem decked Ricardo Dominguez with a left hook about one-third of the way through round one. Dominguez stayed on the canvas and took the ten count from Steve Smoger.

In the swing bout, Carson Jones won an entertaining and action-packed six round majority decision over Jose Gonzalez.

Peterson improved to 26-0, 19 KO’s and Izquierdo dropped to 16-2-1, 13 KO’s.

23 year-old Lamont Peterson, who fights at junior-welterweight, slogged through ten sloppy rounds to win a unanimous decision over Antonio Mesquita. Peterson improved to 24-0, 11 KO’s and Mesquita dropped to 34-1, 26 KO’s.
