12 Rounds-Vacant NABF Middleweight Title
This main event was definitely a local fight of the year candidate. Bronco McKart 50-7 (31 KOs) of Monroe, MI started off the first round very aggressive, forcing Enrique Ornelas 25-3 (15 KOs) of La Habra, CA to trade with him, getting the better of the exchanges. Rounds 2 and 3 McKart continued to press, landing power shots to the body and head of Ornelas.

Round 4, the two started going toe to toe in the middle of the ring, and
McKart landed a perfect right hook that put Ornelas on the canvas. Ornelas, able to get back on his feet, recover, and survive the rest of the round. However, starting in round 5, Ornelas started to press forward landing hooks to the body of McKart, backing him up for the first time of the fight. The middle rounds, Ornelas seemed to be in control as the two warriors stood in front of each other, both landing big at times. McKart started to get his wind back in rounds 11 and 12, as the two held on and traded inside. The crowd came to their feet as the final bell sounded. The final scores read 114-113 twice for McKart, as one judge saw it 114-113 for Ornelas. With the win, McKart will look to make one last run at the elite of the middleweight division.
