Mohegan Indian Reservation, CT- How many belts are enough for Matt “Too Smooth” Godfrey? The answer to that question may not be known for some time, but Friday night he added a fourth belt to his collection when he defeated Felix “Bad News” Cora (18-1-2 9 KO). Godfrey (14-0-0 8 KO) put on a show for the 4320 boxing fans at the Mohegan Sun Casino as well as a national audience that watched live on ESPN 2’s Friday Night Fights. The fight was promoted by Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment & Sports and was aptly named “Collision Course”.
