It’s been almost two years, but boxing returns to the Scranton area. Gennetti Manor in Dickson City hosts Summer Thunder featuring a card of local fighters.

The Scranton Times previews the event, featuring co-headliners Jason Gavern and Chris Mills. Also featured on the card are local boxers Marty Flynn and Anthony Cusumano.

Scranton area fighters aren’t known for their technical prowess having to travel to Jersey or Philly to train a few days a week. But they do have good chins and knockout power which usually translates into entertaining fights to watch.

Here’s the card for tonight’s fights:
