All big names, all huge industry leaders, and nonetheless have always been known for offering a solid product. To this date no website has sued Alexa.com for misrepresenting them improperly on their Stats list. If the product was crappy and irresponsible with it’s findings… you can rest assured that someone would challenge them.

When should we NOT trust Alexa’s rankings?

Recently I seen more than one Boxing Websites representing the Alexa.com’s Top Boxing Site stats wrong. In one particular case a certain Boxing website was claiming they were in the top 5 Boxing sites ranked by Alexa… however, nothing could be further from the truth. On their particular list, they left off Boxing websites that were beating them on the list and in turn have bushwhacked their readers into thinking they are more popular than they actually are. By omitting certain Boxing sites from the list they compiled using Alexa’s information, and not telling their readers that the list is not as factual as they want you to believe it is… not only can you consider it propaganda…but you got to wonder just how trusty worthy a website is that misrepresents the research that is available to all of us.
