It was announced by Hall of Fame Promotions president Donna Brooks and Henry Cortes, president of Cortes Sports and Entertainment that they are co-promoting what they hope will be a regular series of boxing shows in Paterson, New Jersey. After a long absence, boxing will return to JFK High School (corner of Preakness and Totowa Road) on Friday, August 25th which will feature many local boxing stars and young prospects. Said Athletic Commissioner Larry Hazzard,
