When most people talk about Philadelphia fighters they always talk about how they have heart, they are brawlers, they are hard-nosed men who grew up on the tough streets and used boxing as a refuge. The legendary gym wars from the 70’s are always talked about. How many of the great middleweights from the era used to beat each other to a pulp for bragging rights on the streets. The live sparring that took place with a boisterous crowd that made you feel like you were sitting in the Blue Horizon.
